Website redesign · Brussels
A website redesign that preserves what already works.
A useful redesign is more than a colour change. It clarifies the offer, simplifies journeys and resolves technical constraints while treating valuable content and existing URLs with care.

What we examine before rebuilding
Content and journeys
We identify useful pages, duplication, dead ends and missing information before drawing the new structure.
Technology and accessibility
Navigation, mobile behaviour, media weight, metadata, forms and keyboard use are checked on the real website.
URL history
Existing addresses are inventoried. Where destinations change, an explicit redirect plan limits disruption for visitors and search engines.
Rebuild without losing ground
Most failed redesigns lose visitors on launch day, not six months later.
The cause is almost always the same: URLs changed without redirects, useful pages removed by accident, metadata lost during migration. So we start by inventorying what exists — pages, inbound links, forms, the content that actually receives traffic — before anything is designed. The new site is then built on a test address, compared page by page with the old one, and switched over with a redirect table checked line by line.
Measure before deciding
We measure the current site rather than judge it: which pages receive traffic, which links point to you, which journeys go nowhere.
Redirects written, not guessed
Every old address whose destination changes gets an explicit redirect, tested before and after the switch.
Technical problems first
Mobile rendering, image weight, broken forms, response time: these limits are fixed during the redesign, not afterwards.
A planned migration
Every redesign starts with a verifiable picture of the current site. That makes it possible to decide what to retain, improve or remove.
Current-site audit
We analyse pages, content, links, functions, available data and the constraints of the existing hosting.
New structure
We connect visitor needs to a clearer architecture, sharper messages and logical calls to action.
Rebuild and migration
The new website is developed on a test URL. Selected content is cleaned and integrated into the new system.
Checks and switch-over
Before launch we check links, forms, metadata, redirects, responsive behaviour and accessibility, then monitor the switch.
The parts of a careful redesign
- Inventory of existing pages, content and URLs
- Priorities and a new site structure
- Design and development of the new website
- Migration of selected content
- Redirect table for changed URLs
- Checks before and after launch
When should you consider a redesign?
When the website no longer reflects your offer, is hard to update, works poorly on mobile, has accumulated inconsistent pages or blocks an important change. An audit confirms whether a full rebuild is justified.
Related independent concepts
A redesign concept in context
The Fruits & Passions prototype is an independent KRUZ concept, created without a commission or endorsement from the business. It explores how a public offer could be reorganised within a new structure and visual system; it does not present a client result. Information inside the prototype is illustrative and is not verified business information.
Locally rooted · Brussels-Capital Region
A redesign run from Brussels, not from a template.
KRUZ works by appointment across the Brussels-Capital Region, in English, French and Dutch.
Many Brussels websites date from a time when mobile was an afterthought and Dutch a forgotten page. A local redesign starts from your real customers: which municipalities, which languages, which questions before they call. Every redesign is quoted after a review of the existing site.

Frequently asked questions
Does a redesign guarantee better Google rankings?
No. It can remove technical barriers and improve content structure, but no provider can guarantee a position. Migration should first prevent avoidable losses.
Do all old pages need to remain?
Not necessarily. We assess their purpose, content and links before retaining, merging, redirecting or removing them.
Does the website need to go offline during the redesign?
Usually not. The new version is prepared separately and switched over after the planned checks.
Is your website ready for a redesign?
Send us its address and explain where it is holding you back. We will start with what is already there.
